Become a Riverwatcher
Volunteer Riverwatchers provide an invaluable service—they help us protect our most invaluable resource, clean water!
Riverwatchers are the eyes, ears and noses of the Potomac Riverkeeper and the Shenandoah Riverkeeper. They are anglers, paddlers, swimmers, hikers...anyone who enjoys and recreates on the river. Our Riverwatchers agree to report pollution to us when they see it in the watershed. They ensure we know what's going on so that proper and safe clean-ups can happen.
