Where We Dine...

Clyde's Restaraunt Group developed and distributed 80,000 Pure Potomac-themed beverage coasters that informed patons that the region's drinking water cmes from the Potomac River. Starting in the summer of 2011 customers will be able to scan a QR code on the coasters with their smart phone and take the Pure Potomac Quiz while waiting for their food.

Where We Play...

Based in Poolesville, Maryland, Calleva Adventure Camps has exposed generation of kids to the wonders of the Potomac. Calleva teamed up with Pure Potomac to inform its camper families about the challenges facing the river. They also get more people out on the river by supoorting Pure Potomac paddling and river-based clean-up events.

Where We Learn...

Working with George Washington University's School of Public Health and its Office of Sustainability, Pure Potomac participates in panel discussions and campus events related to drinking water, and works with campus researchers to better understand the health effects of endocrine disruptors and other toxic chemicals found in the Potomac and in our drinking water.
