Our first year participating in #SwimmableWater Weekend was a success! We would like to thank everyone who participated in this social media awareness campaign. Here at Potomac Riverkeeper, Inc. we support drinkable, swimmable, and fishable water for all of DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Heavy rain and flooding hit the DC area hard twice in the past month—first, at the tail end of April, and again, just before Potomac Riverkeeper’s spring benefit.
