Ever wonder what could be on your food?

We sure do! That's why we're fans of What's On My Food?, a new program by the Pesticide Action Network. What’s On My Food? is a searchable database designed to make the public problem of pesticide exposure visible and more understandable. Click the tool below to figure out how many pesticide residues are on, say, your apples.

If you decide that the whopping 42 pesticide residues are just too many, remember: there are ways to avoid consuming these chemicals. Our Pure Potomac program empowers you to keep these chemicals away from your body, your family, and your water supply. After you're done checking out what chemicals might be in your favorite foods, take our Pure Potomac survey and let us know how you plan on avoiding them!
